Happy Follow Friday!Today's Question: What do you do when you are not blogging? As for me, I'm either writing, designing graphics or ads for my books or doing something with my kids. Oh, and I also spend a lot more time on Facebook and Twitter than I should. Anybody else out there with that problem? For you book bloggers out there, how would you like to host me as part of the Vampire's Curse blog tour with Bookish Snob Promotions? Click the link to sign up. There will be giveaways! I am back home from the family cruise vacation. But I'm sick. I believe I picked up a cold bug somewhere between St. Lucia and St. Martin. The Vampire's Curse is NOT finished yet. I know I set a release date for tomorrow but with me being sick, I don't see how I'm going to make it happen. Hang tight, my peeps. It should only be a few more days as long as I can get this illness under control. 29.549 words written for The Vampire's Curse. We're coming close to the finish, peeps. Who's excited? Now that I'm getting closer to the end of The Vampire's Curse, I'm finding more motivation to get it finished. I'm determined not to be in too much of a hurry. That happened when I got close to finishing Warden. I got so excited about getting it out to the readers that I rushed through some of the last scenes. I definitely don't want to do that with this one. My husband is encouraging me to do a rewrite of Warden. He would rather see me rewrite Warden and then release Curse and the extended (and improved) version of Warden at the same time. I'm curious what my readers think of that idea. It would push the release of Curse back by at least a month or so. I'm leaning towards releasing Curse and then doing the rewrite/revision of Warden. Then I'll be starting on BOOK THREE of the series! Wow, that's a sobering thought. So here's my question to you guys. Do you want to see a revision of Warden? "I have had many women. In the beginning, it was always about the blood and satisfying that thirst that drives all vampires. But we are capable of much more. I learned how to use my words, my eyes, my hands and my mouth to bring the kind of pleasure to a woman that she had never before experienced. There were times when all I really wanted was the coppery warmth of blood in my mouth, flowing down my throat. However, I preferred to be discrete with my feeding. If a woman was rendered nearly unconscious due to the effects of an incredible orgasm, she was less likely to feel alarmed when my teeth sank into her flesh. Compulsion is one of my abilities, but I use it sparingly. Perhaps it is one of my few moral qualms." - Michael Graviano Copyright © 2011 by Stephanie J. Wright Hello my sweet peeps! I hope everybody had a great holiday weekend. My two boys are nearly done with school. Only two days to go. My little one (5 years old) has developed an upper respiratory infection. I found out today that we will have to start breathing treatments. We are supposed to be going to Houston for my nephew's birthday party this weekend, but unless the little guy starts feeling better that may not happen. But that's not what you really wanted to know, was it? You are wondering when The Vampire's Curse will be released. Am I right? I want to get this done in the next two weeks. I've been editing as I go, so I'm hoping that portion of the work won't take too long. If you are a BETA reader for Curse, please e-mail me back with suggestions, corrections, problems, etc. I need your input in order to get this book out! I just started writing the fifteenth chapter. The plan is to have around twenty chapters. As I've said, it is going to be longer than Warden. So hang in there. It's on the way. And I am more motivated than ever to get this written and up for sale. |
