Mysteriousbooks will be the host for our 6th tour stop for the Vampire's Curse.  Mette is the blog mistress there.  She's from Denmark, loves to read and review paranormal romance and has a dog named Bonita (I LOVE that name!)  Hop on over to her site tomorrow because she'll be featuring an interview with me as well as a giveaway!

Good morning, my sweet and amazing peeps!  What are your plans for this holiday weekend?  Hopefully, I will be resting and watching the sales numbers increase for new book!  By the way, if you've seen the Curse page on Amazon, don't buy it yet.  I'm going to be reducing the price to $2.99.  I messed that up when I posted it.  I'm VERY happy to report that Curse has received five 5-star ratings so far on B&N!  Woo-hoo!

I want to send out special thanks to all the beta readers, to my editor Justina and my sister Brenda for all their help so far in going over Curse for me.  In addition, thank you to my wonderful husband.  He is the reason that was able to stay home with the kids and write.  I owe him so much for all his support.  D, you're such a wonderful father and husband.  I don't know what we'd do without you.  To my sons, Cameron and Devan, thank you for being patient (sometimes) when Mommy was absorbed with something on her computer.  To my in-laws, Judy and Stan, you two are such incredible grandparents.  Thank you so much for all the support and kindness you have given to our family.

I have only set up one paid promotion for the new book.  It will be featured on Kindle Nation Daily, but I don't have a date yet from Steve.  We're going to try one avenue of promotion at a time to see exactly which ones are the most effective.

If any of you have a book blog, please contact me!  I would love to do some interviews, provide excerpts from the book and sponsor giveaways!  I'd like to shoot for September to start doing the book blog tours if that's possible.  That way the kids are in school, and I'm less likely to be interrupted by a 5-year-old who insists that he needs a cupcake instead of a sandwich for lunch.

For everyone who has bought the book so far, THANK YOU BUNCHES!  I love you guys!

I am back home from the family cruise vacation.  But I'm sick.  I believe I picked up a cold bug somewhere between St. Lucia and St. Martin.  The Vampire's Curse is NOT finished yet.  I know I set a release date for tomorrow but with me being sick, I don't see how I'm going to make it happen.  Hang tight, my peeps.  It should only be a few more days as long as I can get this illness under control.

In my mailbag this week, I've had several wonderful readers asking when Curse will be released.  Some of  you may know that my son, Cameron has been ill over the last week or so.  He has an upper respiratory infection that requires breathing treatments.  Luckily, he's beginning to get better.

I am making progress on the Vampire's Curse, Book 2 of the series.  It is not going to be released until the end of June.  As my very intelligent husband pointed out, we want to make sure that it's 99.5% perfect as far as editing before it goes up for sale.  The manuscript still needs about seven more chapters before the first draft is even complete.  Fortunately, I've been doing some editing as I've been writing.

So, here's the deal.

RELEASE DATE FOR CURSE:  June 29th, 2011

That date also happens to be our wedding anniversary, so it will be a double celebration!  Anyway, please be patient, my sweet peeps.  I want to make sure that Curse is completely done and polished well before I send it out to the masses.

I want to thank everyone who has written to me recently.  I love hearing from you!  Thank you!
